With everything going on in the world, shopping local is something small we can all do that adds up to large benefits for your community. “What does it mean to shop local?” It means a lot more than you might think. Broadly, you are supporting a small business and receiving a handmade or hand-picked gift that is totally unique. But, shopping locally has a waterfall effect. When you shop local, you are putting money directly back into your local community. In fact, for every dollar spent at a local business an average of $0.67 stays in the community. When your sports team or non-profit holds a fundraiser, your small businesses are the first stop for support. The town events we all love and hold dear are supported by our small businesses.
Below is a list of small businesses that are open for business. Listings are being updated every day.
Please remember to follow the CDC guidelines.
