The chill of fall is in the air, and it will soon be time to decorate the Ligonier Diamond for Christmas. This annual display of thousands of twinkling lights takes the dedication and teamwork of many people. Chamber members Tom and Nancy Donchez lead the annual army of volunteers to decorate the Diamond.  Tom and Nancy put a tremendous amount of time and energy into transforming the Diamond into a spectacular winter wonderland each year.

The Chamber is working diligently to replace worn Christmas lights with durable, energy-efficient LED lights. If Ligonier residents would like to help “Light Up Ligonier”, they can stop by Conte Design Lifestyle Gallery and sponsor a strand of LED lights for the Chamber for $18 each.  George and Olive Conte have been so generous with their time and support of this lighting project. Their time and effort to help make Christmas in Ligonier a little bit brighter, and more efficient, is to be applauded.

Volunteers are encouraged to gather for holiday decorating on the Diamond on November 11, from 8 to 11 a.m.  Decorating on November 18, will take place on the Diamond from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
