It wouldn’t be Spring without Easter, and it wouldn’t be Easter with Easter Egg Hunts!
Ligonier will be home to several Easter Egg Hunts as Easter approaches. You can stop by one or maybe you’ll want to hit them all for the full egg-hunting experience.
First up, Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art hosing an Egg-citing Egg Hunt on April 13th from 1-3 p.m. for children up to age 10. The afternoon will include… Egg hunt, face painting, egg exchange, coloring pages and more. Donation of $1 per family requested. Will be held rain or shine and they are asking for attendees to call ahead to 724-238-6015.
For the first time Ligonier now has a Easter Egg Hunt for your Furry Friend. Hop over to Paws On Main Sunday April 13th from 2-4 for their four legged friend Easter egg hunt. Bring a donation for the Helping Hearts Healing Tails Animal rescue and receive a map to pick up eggs around town with your pup or cat. Return the eggs you collect to the store in exchange for yummy treats.
Join the Lauglingtown community center at their Bicentennial Park for the annual Easter Egg Hunt from 1-4! Kiddos will be split up into age groups to search for eggs in the park.
Stick around after the hunt for an egg dyeing activity with local social group, The Vibe Tribe. This will be held inside the Community Center. Parents are asked to bring hard boiled eggs for their children to dye.
Heritage United Methodist Church will host its annual Easter egg hunt in and around the church. You won’t want your little ones to miss this egg-stra fun egg hunt on April 20th.
Last but not least, The JROTC is teaming up with our Ligonier Valley Library to host a Spring egg Hunt on April 20th from 6-7pm. The hunt will take place later in the hour, so come early to enjoy face painting, family fun stations, and special guest Joe Moore, who will be showcasing his Maxwell and raindrop books. The JROTC students will also be collecting canned and boxed food donations for the local food pantry.
