A night of Christmas fun for everyone! Santa Claus is coming to the Diamond and he’s bringing a spectacle of lights and holiday cheer with him. This annual town-favorite event will surely get you in the Christmas spirit! The festivities will begin at 6:30 PM on the Diamond. Santa will arrive on a horse-drawn sleigh led by a parade that you won’t want to miss. Soon after, one lucky child and their family will be selected to help Santa press the button to light-up Ligonier! Tickets for this opportunity are $1 for one or $5 for six and can be purchased at The Ligonier Valley Chamber of Commerce Office or Abigail’s Coffeehouse. From the ticket holders, our winner will be announced on Monday, November 25th on a Facebook LIVE. Once the lights are glowing, the fun doesn’t stop here. All night long, Christmas music will be playing and Santa will be checking his list and greeting good boys and girls in the community room of Ligonier Town Hall. As they wait their turn, children can color for Christmas cheer and their artwork will warm the hearts of local residents at Bethlen Community. Weather permitting, sleigh rides will be available in front of Town Hall immediately following the lighting of the Diamond. Ligonier Radio “The Valley,” will also be showing vintage Christmas short features and cartoons in the auditorium of Town Hall. Many of your local businesses have extended hours for the evening.
