I was born at McGinnis Hospital. My grandparents owned and operated Stouffer's Garage & Gas station & I spent many hours there playing with my cousins. I miss Ligonier! The valley is so beautiful in the spring. |

Transfered to Hurst HS in 1944. Step-father ran Stouffer's Service and Garage for 41 years. Came back to Ligonier after tour of duty during WW2. Left Ligonier in 1960. My brothers Darrell and Ronald Stouffer still live in Ligonier. Enjoy visiting my home town often.

My husband's ancestors settled in Ligonier in the 1750's. James Pollock came from Ireland. John Pollock was one of his sons, and David Pollock was one of his grandsons. Looking forward to visiting the area.

I was born here in 1962. Ihave many cousins here and close by.Have only been able to visit once in the last thirty years. I have been coming to Ligonier since I was 5 years old. Back then the town hall was a hotel. I am now retired and visit Ligonier at least 2-3 times a week. I'll get a cup of coffee and drive up to Adam Falls and read the paper. There is something about Ligonier that I have always been drawn to, I don't know what it is, maybe I lived here in a past life, I don't know, but I love this town.

My Grandfather's home was the middle of Fort Ligioner in the 50's I played in the Fort as a kid, met President Eisenhouer. My Father graduated from ligioner high, and my Mothers family , the Perry's still live there. I miss growing up in Ligioner in the summers of 50's and 60's. I would like to move back

As a youngster I attended HOLY TRINITY. Both the old brick church which is now a parking lot, and the "newer" church. Anyone remember Sister Bernice, Clemenza or Anita? Father Leander Pehl or Alfred Grotzenger? I LOVE Ligonier and come back as often as possible for the memories.

Grew up in Ligonier and fled from it after graduating in 1966. Found the web cam during the last year of my Mother's life and when I called her I was able to talk to her about how the Diamond looked. Mary Snyder Pershing was a life long resident. She was fascinated that I was able to see what was happening. It took time to realize what a wonderful place Ligonier is. All of my siblings are still in the area.

Just stayed at a B&B last weekend in Ligonier. I've also been to the Fort Ligonier Days a few years ago. I always tell my fiance that Ligonier is my "favorite small town." I'm envious of those that live there. I would love to make Ligonier my home. The town is adorable and the air is clean and the residents are friendly. Thanks for a great and relaxing weekend away from the city!! We will be back.

Graduated from Latrobe H.S. in 1962 but spent summers in Ligonier at our cottage. After 4 years in Air Force, returned to Ligonier and was on the Police Force there. Graduated High School and went in the Air Force for 22 years. I have spent time in 28 countries and 48 states....and still think there is no place on earth more peaceful than Ligionier. I hope to spend a little more time there when I retire...a regular "snow bird", Florida in the winter and Ligonier in the summer.
