we will leave them posted throughout the year. We will continue to add
more events and update this information regularly. If you need more

- Ligonier Ice Fest - Jan. 21st - 22nd, 2012 - On the Diamond. Ice artists create masterpieces
from blocks of ice located on and within 1 block of the Diamond area. Carving starts at 10am on Saturday, Noon on Sunday

April 2012
- 18th Annual Tastes of the Town - April 12, 2012 - Hosted by the Ligonier Valley Historical Society at Ligonier Country Inn,
features a wide variety of sumptuous treats provided by area
restaurants. Tickets are limited. Call 724-238-6818 for more information.
- Hollow Tree Players Production - Ligonier Town Hall

Ligonier - opens for the season April 15th, 2012.
- 4th Annual Model Railroad Home Tour - April 28th, 2012, 9am to 4pm - The tour will showcase some nice model railroads and a 7" gauge
live steam train that can be ridden on. This is a fundraiser for the Ligonier Valley Rail Road Association's museum. There are a limited number of tickets available and no tickets will be sold after April 21st, so call now! See their web site www.lvrra.org or call 724-238-7819 for information and tickets.
- Whole Being Expo - April 28-29, 2012, 10am to 5pm both days at Antiochian Village - The expo will bring together the best in the realm of healing the whole being…body and spirit with nearly 100 exhibits, teachers and presenters! Everyone is invited to attend the expo and learn, shop and discover how to care for your whole being in a whole new way.

Inn (shown at right) opens May 1st, 2012. Compass Inn
is a restored stagecoach stop from 1799 furnished with period
pieces. It is located 3 miles east of Ligonier in Laughlintown
on Route 30 and is a project of the Ligonier Valley Historical
Society.

Players - Spring Production
- Relay For Life - May 4th, 2012 - will be held at Weller Field. Festivities begin at 3pm Friday with official opening ceremony at 6pm. The walk will continue all through the night, with closing ceremonies at 3pm on Saturday, May 5th. For more information, contact Donna Jones.

- Antiochian Village, Compass Inn Museum, Ligonier Valley Railroad Museum, Fort Ligonier, Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art and the Ligonier Theater will participate in the Annual Ligonier "Community Day." "Community Day" is their gift to Ligonier Valley residents for their support throughout the year. Residents, within the boundaries of the Ligonier Valley School District, are entitled to free admission to their sites. What a wonderful way to see what is located in your own backyard. Don't forget your ID.
